PR & influencer marketing

01 / The challenge
Modern PR teams were still searching by hand.
ProjectPR’s founders saw teams hunting for influencers and journalists across disconnected databases, spreadsheets, and Google searches. No single product let them describe a campaign, discover relevant people, inspect current contact and performance data, and organize the results for outreach. They needed a convincing working product quickly enough to validate the idea with users and investors.
- Discovery spread across disconnected tools and spreadsheets
- Hours of manual research for every campaign
- No flexible way to filter and export useful lead data
- No existing brand, interface, or technical foundation
02 / The solution
An end-to-end product created in weeks.
Starting from a blank canvas, I created the brand identity, designed the core experience in Figma, and built a production-ready Next.js application. The visual system needed to feel credible to PR professionals while remaining approachable to people who were not technical.
The central interaction was a conversational search interface. Users could describe the creator or journalist they needed in plain English rather than translating a campaign into a rigid set of filters. The product interpreted that intent and searched structured sources behind the scenes.
Each result brought together the context required to evaluate a lead: contact details, focus areas, recent work, audience size, engagement, and publishing history. Users could then choose the columns relevant to their campaign and export a clean, immediately useful dataset.
I added saved lists organized around the way PR teams work—by campaign, client, pitch, or media vertical. That turned the concept from a search demo into a lightweight workflow product that teams could return to throughout an outreach cycle.
What the work delivered
- Brand and product designed from scratch
- Conversational discovery experience
- Actionable creator and journalist data
03 / The outcome
In three weeks, ProjectPR had a fully branded, high-fidelity product with conversational discovery, real-time data collection, advanced filtering, and lead management—something tangible to test with users, demonstrate, and use in investor conversations.
